What is Hosting?

Hosting is the place where your website is brodcasted to the world.  Without hosting, your domain is just floating in space.  A good analogy is that your domain name is a rare car and your hosting account is a car show.  Basically, if you don't register for the car show, no one will see your beautiful car.
